Pretty, perfumed and pink

Oxygen… it can be the hero or the villain in winemaking. Here, it’s definitely the hero. Oxygen is a key component in the aromatic ring of rose water, a defining character of this wine.

The 2023 Oxygen is a Rose made from 50% Pinot Gris & 50% Muscat of Hamburg. The Pinot Gris is direct pressed and fermented naturally in old barriques, while the Muscat ferments on skins for 7 days. The wine is then blended and aged for a further 18 months before bottling unfined, unfiltered and without sulfur addition.

Radiant pink in colour. The Oxygen is a dry, aromatic, Rose with mid-palate weight and a fresh, crunchy texture. Rose water and exotic spice emit from the glass and build over the palate. Best served with asian cuisine, pork dishes or on its own in the sunshine.
